Newark, NJ – Elegantly and
traditionally styled “English
Manor” is one of Thibaut’s latest collections. Inspired
by historic homes, “English
Manor” is a compilation of historic reproductions and European
designs with a decidedly English flair.
The collection includes such grand designs as “Georgian Vase,” a
reproduction of an antique frieze of ornate urns resplendent with roses
against a delicate trellis pattern. The soft round shapes of the fifteen-color
hand-printed design are reminiscent of an old-fashioned block print. “Brentwood,” a
large-scale arabesque damask of scroll and floral elements, has an
opulent color palette including dark red, deep blue, and creamy beige. “Elizabeth,” a
replication of an 18th century toile, captures pastoral scenes of the
past in soft hues of blue, coral, and beige. Another noteworthy pattern, “Cornucopia,” is
a dense leafy pattern with intertwining branches that surround wicker
baskets filled with lush fruits and flowers. The baskets rest on small
tufts of grass.
Along with these grand designs, the collection also includes smaller-scale
novelty prints. “English Country” is a mini trellis design
complete with petite illustrations of rural life. “Tudor Place” is
a delicate pattern featuring miniature tulips and ladybugs against
a plaid background.
“English
Manor” and other Thibaut collections are available through
interior designers and fine wallcovering and decorating stores. For
