Introducing Serendipity
Decorating trends point toward a “new” traditional look that’s
cleaner and simpler, with a soft color palette. This style emerges in Serendipity,
a surprising and delightful ensemble of traditional English style designs with
delicate touches of watercolor, embroidery, and texture. Here Shrewsbury,
a traditional Jacobean pattern inspired by an antique document, has been re-created
with a casual watercolor technique. The technique and colors yield an all-over
relaxed feeling with the comfort of a linen cotton blend in the printed fabric.
The drapes give a lively twist in pink with our pattern Pimlico Dot,
a fine woven design.

Rich alligator skins, burnished leather designs, layered painted patterns,
and classic damasks can be found in Thibaut’s new Texture Resource

new performance wallcoverings offer a luxurious look with tactile
detail and resonant colors, ranging from spicy earth tones, and sumptuous browns
to fresh blues and aquas. They resist common household stains, provide high-performance
durability, and are ideal for family rooms, foyers and hallways,
mudrooms, kitchens and bathrooms.

Wallpaper is Hot
Wallpaper is in the forefront of design again! Today’s patterns, with
their artistic use of texture, color, and creative effects, allow consumers
to put a personal stamp on their interiors. Wallpaper enables homeowners to
experiment with color and texture and enrich a room with “layers” of
color. For first-time users, Tone on Tone Resource II is an
ideal collection to start with. Tonal color and simplistic shapes add drama
and interest in a subtle way, without taking center stage. The designs are
easy to work with as they involve only one or two hues. Sabrina,
pictured here, yields a sophisticated look with metallic highlights, a textured
flock effect, and stylized leaves and flowers.
