Thibaut's Monterey Collection Full of Bohemian Flair

Mar 2013

The Monterey Collection offers a variety of fresh patterns with a bohemian vibe. Strong yet comfortable colors ranging from vibrant coral to peacock blue round out this unique wallpaper and fabric collection. Versatile patterns flexibly coordinate to create a collection that has a hip new take on traditional style.

Full of large, blooming flowers, Sulu is the collection’s feature pattern, with a hand-painted batik quality of japonesque motifs in detail that is vivacious and enlivening. Coral, teal, plum, beige, charcoal, and citrus colorways make the pattern sing on wallpaper and printed linen fabric.

A simple linen fabric, Gathering is a delicate sheer for window treatments with vertical pleats.

Bohemian Stripe’s vertical stripes are textured with inspiration from an antique woven fabric from France. Multi-colored pinstripes accent the two-inch wide bands of coral, lilac, fuchsia, coastal blue, and sea foam on the wallpaper and fabric renditions of this pattern.

Carolina Raffia is real woven palm raffia that can be formal or fresh. Its natural irregularities are what create the beauty of this textured wallpaper; available in a lighter, natural color or slightly deeper straw.

Named after a large wildlife preserve on the outskirts of Kenya’s capital city, the silhouettes of friendly animals roam freely on Nairobi in bright colors.

Inspired by its embroidered fabric companion, Alston Trellis boasts a graphic and geometric pattern.

Another paradigm of beautiful embroidery is found in Rivera, whose large-scale Jacobean floral pattern is stunning on both wallpaper and fabric.

Arturo Damask is also significant as wallpaper and embroidery with large vertical repeats of a regal shape.

Eastern influence is evident in the natural viney motifs of Baltimore. This design is ethnic and fanciful with small, eye-catching paisley-like details throughout.

The whimsical essence of Donegal is contagious. A watercolor technique can be found in the fruitful mix of large florals in colors of fuchsia, charcoal grey, seaglass teal, coral, citrus greens, and blues. Companion printed fabrics are available in all colorways.

From Moorish influence, Lucas’s crimped damask-style pattern is small-scale, yet bold. The surfaceprinted wallpaper has a thick stamped look, while the larger-scale printed fabric is young, versatile and fun.

Inspired by an original 1889 French document, Troubador is a metallic and sparkly wallpaper printed on matte backgrounds of plum, peacock blue, turquoise, cream, black, and taupe.

A simplified modern damask, Bastille has an ornate look with large and elegant scrolls that will climb walls with style and poise. This classic, stately pattern has a slightly textured and fibrous ground.
