Hokkaido features bold, macro-scale rhombuses created by printing metallic silver gauze on a non-woven base. Inspired by fashion, the graphic geometry references the signature motif of the Giorgio Armani Privé Spring/Summer 2023 haute couture collection. Subtle three-dimensional vertical lines evoke the texture of woven yarns, while areas of increased transparency reveal the metallic foil beneath, enhancing depth and light reflection.
